Prayer Commemoration of all the Faithful Departed
All Soul's Day

Just as Jesus died and rose again,
so will the Father bring with Him
those who have died in Jesus.
Just as in Adam all men will die,
so in Christ all will be made alive.
God our Father, we ask that you will hear our prayers
and bring us consolation in our lives,
as we remember in our prayers
all our loved ones who have died.
We pray that they will have
received the promise of eternal life,
and that they are with you
in experiencing the joy of heaven.
Replace our sorrow with your joy,
our grief with your peace,
and may we glorify you in our
remembrance of them.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ,
your Son, who lives and reigns with you
and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever.
Amen.
